06/18/2007 - Philadelphia, PA (Sportsbook Betting Lines) - Angel Cabrera's unexpected win at the U.S. Open on Sunday produced an expected result.

After shooting a final-round 69 at brutal Oakmont to hold off Tiger Woods and Jim Furyk, the Argentine climbed 24 places to No. 17 in the latest Official World Golf Ranking.

Woods and Furyk, while remaining No. 1 and No. 3 in the rankings, both enhanced their positions by sharing runner-up status. Woods extended his lead on second-ranked Phil Mickelson, while Furyk closed the gap from the other side.

Following Woods, Mickelson and Furyk in the rankings were Adam Scott, Ernie Els, Vijay Singh, Henrik Stenson, Geoff Ogilvy, Luke Donald and Padraig Harrington, who filled positions 4-10.

Singh moved up a spot to sixth, bumping Stenson to seventh, while Harrington flip-flopped positions with Retief Goosen for the third consecutive week, knocking him from the 10th spot.

Goosen was trailed by Sergio Garcia, Masters champion Zach Johnson, Rory Sabbatini, Trevor Immelman, Paul Casey, Cabrera, Justin Rose, K.J. Choi and David Toms to round out the top 20.

Behind Cabrera, Rose parlayed a nice showing at Oakmont into a one-spot bump to No. 18, while Choi dropped two places to 19th. Toms was up one place to No. 20, and Stewart Cink and Charles Howell III both fell out of the top 20.
